Some people have noticed and asked about my change in eating habits. Usually after I explain the 5 items I have given up I get the following two responses:
1. OMG! I could never do that!
2. What can you eat????
I've actually surpised myself so far with my willpower. I stopped eating animal products several days ago and have gotten over the horrible hump of caffeine withdrawal.I have found many new things to eat and started to make some choices I would like to continue after the cleanse. I am not sure if I could eat this strict forever but I certaintly have become aware of many places I can be making better choices.
When I wasn't sure what I was going to eat in the cafeteria today I realized there was lots I could eat at the salad bar. Having healthy snacks on hand, such as nuts or dried fruit, also helps.
